CURRENT COLLECTIONS

While there are many ways to explain the dynamic and beautiful experience of Hygge (hoo-ga) in Danish and Norwegian culture,  I named this collection after one of the many beautiful descriptions I found.

Hygge:  "a form of everyday togetherness". 

If have been around horses, you may understand very quickly why this collection is named after this definition. When you are in a state of "togetherness" with your horse it is an incredible feeling.  Naming this collection Hygge provides the depth, feeling, and story that I want to create in this collection through one beautiful word. 

My intention for this collection is that when you look at each piece that you feel a sense of warmth, joy, and "togetherness" with the horse looking back at you. My wish is that their expressive faces bring laughter and smiles to everyone!

 From Old Norse faðmr, Favn (fa-un), means to embrace another, or to even fall asleep in someone's arms. 

While the Hygge collection is intended to inspire a feeling of "togetherness" through the silly and expressive faces of the horses, this collection is meant to be more like a warm hug; a loving embrace; a friend beside you as you face the roads ahead.

This collection is intended to embrace the onlooker with understanding, validation, peace, and compassion.
